About Foundation Libera

Foundation Libera was founded by the members of Trio Libera: pianist Marina Savova, oboist Niels Dittmann (Marigaux Artist), and bassoonist Alexander Lenkov (Mönnig Artist), as a natural continuation of their artistic and educational vision. United by a shared passion for chamber music, they recognised the need to create more opportunities for young musicians, especially in the field of woodwind instruments, and to build meaningful bridges between cultures through art. Foundation Libera emerged as a platform for creativity, collaboration, and inspiration; a space where music becomes a tool for learning, connection and mutual understanding.
The Foundation’s mission is to share the idea of freedom through music, supporting artistic growth and cultural dialogue across Bulgaria, Europe, and Asia.

Our Mission

Foundation Libera’s mission is to promote Chamber Music and Woodwind instruments, nurturing a new generation of musicians through concerts, masterclasses and educational programs. We believe that music builds bridges between people, cultures and generations and that artistic freedom can inspire social change.

Freedom Through Music

The name Libera- meaning “Freedom” - reflects our belief that music is a universal language of liberation. Through our concerts and cultural collaborations we aim to cultivate harmony, creativity and understanding across borders.

Education & Community

Musical Education lies at the heart of Foundation Libera’s work. We support young musicians through Masterclasses and Chamber Music Academies, empowering them to develop creativity, discipline, and confidence. Every project is designed to make Classical Music accessible and inspiring.

Bridging Bulgaria, Europe and Asia

Rooted in Bulgaria and reaching across Europe and Asia, Foundation Libera connects diverse audiences through art. We collaborate with international artists, cultural institutions and festivals creating platforms for cross-cultural interactions and artistic innovation.

Musical Wine Tastings

The Musical Wine Tasting Project reflects Foundation Libera’s vision of connecting people through art. It brings together the worlds of music and wine, treating both as creative expressions that speak to the senses and emotions. Each event celebrates imagination, craftsmanship and the joy of shared experience.
Every program combines live concert with wines chosen to match the mood and spirit of the performance. The aim is not only to entertain but to spark dialogue between musicians, audiences, winemakers, and traditions from Bulgaria, Europe, and Asia.
By recognising wine as an art form in its own right, the project creates a perfect symbiosis between sound and taste, showing how the harmony of music can reflect the complexity of a fine wine. Over time, it has become one of Foundation Libera’s most distinctive and inspiring ways to unite different forms of art and bring people closer together.

Trio Libera
